Το Perseverance τράβηξε μια φωτογραφία μιας μεγάλης πέτρας με τρύπα στο κέντρο της
#PPOD: @NASAPersevere took a picture using the SuperCam Remote Micro-Imager on 23 June 2023 of a donut-shaped rock off in the distance, which could be a large meteorite alongside smaller pieces. Credit: @NASA @NASAJPL @Caltech @LosAlamosNatLab @CNES @IRAP_France @mars_stu pic.twitter.com/9EFTr5tlno

There’s nothing more satisfying than #SamplingMars, especially after my last two attempts on an uncooperative rock! This one looks great AND offers something I don’t yet have in my collection: a rock core with larger pebbles inside. Why that’s good: https://t.co/zfdGnI9dNZ pic.twitter.com/CmsArrJUIM

Hmm. After two tries drilling this pebbly outcrop, it seems this crumbly rock doesn’t want to hold together for a core sample. I’ll look for something similar at another spot nearby.
